Thank you Father that even when I try my hardest and fail you see the real me and love me anyway. Thank you for your unfailing love and your unfailing mercy and grace.

Finally I can sit and write for a minute. :)

Well, after my son being upset with us for a week and "pouting" and then of course getting grounded for the "pouting," he came to the realization that we do not tell him "no" because we hate him.  He said he understands why we won't let him date and that is fine with him. His attitude has def. changed about this situation. I am glad b/c for a minute there I began to panic. LOL 

We have always been open with our son about any and everything. I want him to find things out from us and not his school buddies. No matter what the question is our door is open and of course we say,"Lord, you have to give us the answer to this one."  :)  I believe with that "open door," it makes our son feel very comfortable talking to us, we are not so comfortable at times lol.

How is all going your way? I have a special prayer request. A friend's, that I have known now for 7 years, mother passed a way a few days ago. She was 50 years old. This family is so distraught. They are such a tight knit family and they love the Lord greatly.  They are just having a hard time dealing with this b/c it was a shock. She died from an aneurism while sleeping, her husband found her thursday morning.  Thanks for your prayers.

I pray that you all have a blessed week. We have about 5 more weeks until our house is done. YAY praise be to God, great things He has done.   

So when should your children date? Is dating really good for your children? 

My 12 year old son asked me the other day if he could ask this girl on a date. He wants my hubby and I to take them to a movie. I am just torn about this.

Yeah, I know, I know I have been really lazy at this.   I just had to drop in and see what is new with each and everyone of you. I pray all is well. 

The girls in the office and I  left last Wednesday to head to Destin, Florida. The big "Doc" paid for us to go to Destin for four nights. It was very nice. It was a great break, I love my children and  husband but to be able to go on vacation and hang out with a bunch of girls was just GREAT!   The weather was really nice and I got a good tan. :)  That is about what has been going on this way. Of course we are still working on the house. They say we should be in by October 15th. I am SO excited I pray that all goes well with it so we can be in by then.

The sleepover went great. The birthday party went great until it began to rain but everyone had 4 hours to swim and slide on the slide. That slide is so awesome!  My husband had more fun on that thing than the boys, LOL. They played King of the Hill on it.

My computer has been acting up lately. I think it is time for a new one. My hubby is looking  into that new I-Mac computer. Do any of you know anything about this one?  What type of computer do you have and do you like it?

I am horrible lately at posting. I really don't have too much to say. My son just turned 12 so we are having his party tomorrow. We rented one of those inflatable water slides.  It is 20 feet tall, I can't wait to get on the thing myself.   Tonight my son is having four of his friends over. I can't believe I actually let that happen LOL  I must have been out of it at the time he asked. ;)  We are living in a trailer right now so it should be fun with that many kids over.   

How has all been with each of you? Not only do I stink at posting, but I stink at visiting. I am sorry bout that.  Things have been busy this way. I am trying to get everything together to start school in august and building our house, and getting the kids ready for school and working......it is just BUSY.   I really do pray that all is great your way and am so glad for each of you visiting. Min the Gap left a very good point when I last wrote about jealousy: 

That's interesting. However, I don't think that God is afraid of being replaced because He doesn't think enough of himself, and yet He's a jealous God?

So, I went to dictionary.com and I found two definitions of jealousy, one I believe that defines us and the other defining how our God is a jealous God. 

A. Fearful or wary of being supplanted; apprehensive of losing affection or position (what we struggle with)

B. Intolerant of disloyalty or infidelity; autocratic: a jealous God.

Please lift my grandma in prayer again. They operated on her about a week ago and put a pacemaker in and she came through that great. They then operated on her leg to fix the blockages in it and now they think she has an infection in her leg b/c it is swelling and turning red so they put her on antibiotics. She was supposed to go to the rehab part of the hospital but won't be able to now. Thanks so much for your prayers. :)

I pray all is going well your way and may the Lord bless you all on this wonderful fourth. May we not forget to pray for our troops as they are over there fighting for freedom. :)
